This beautiful handmade and hand-painted birdhouse is made from clean recycled log cabin solid pine wood. Each piece has been hand cut and sanded, while still maintaining a farmhouse appeal. My decorative items such as shutters, door mats, and flower designs are made from oak. No birdhouse is quot;exactlyquot; the same in size or appearance due to being handmade. They each have their own unique identity.
This birdhouse has been coated between 2 to 3 times with high quality exterior paint for protection against outdoor elements; along with applying additional protection to decorative areas such as the flower designs. The roof has been stained medium oak in color with high quality exterior stain.
It measures approximately (7.25”H x 5.5”W x 12”L) with front entrance hole measuring at 1.5quot; across. This birdhouse can be hung or stand alone while providing birds with a lovely home or hideaway; or can simply be used as lovely decor by adding it to your patio, porch, or decking area.
Now that I have retired, many days into weeks are put into completing these birdhouses, from the cutting and carving of wood, to placing on the final touch. My hope is, you too, will come to love them as much as my family and friends have.
